Paintball on Pardon the Interuption (PTI)

From Lonin on PBnation:

"The guys on PTI just a did a segment about paintball again, talking about ESPN's new deal to air it. Both commentators bashed paintball and the video clip they showed was of some horrible run down hyperball field complete with wood bunkers and Brass Eagle Talons. I don't understand why they didn't show a clip from the actual airing they did on Monday.

Anyway, they didn't give any airtime info so it looks like some of ESPN's own programming isn't helping them or paintball out in this regard."

Thoughts?

As cool as it would be to have it on TV all the time, I don't really care. It would be nice to tell people about it and have them understand what I'm talking about because they've watched it. Other than that, I don't know if it will help us or hurt us in the long run. Paintball is not made for TV. I have to say that ESPN has had the best presentation so far but they still have a ways to go. I watch the UAPL and NPPL on TV all the time, and I usually fall asleep. It's kind of entertaining because I know the players and teams and I understand what is happening but, I still don't really get excited about it.

That said, it's no reason for the PTI crew to bash on their own network or any sport for that matter. They just have a place to voice their opinions, no matter how informed or mis-informed they are. We just happen to know that they didn't really do any research into what makes the game great.

Train like you fight. Fight like you train. Then fight like a train.
