Redz Comfort sponsors N.E. Hurricanes for 2006

Redz International has signed a deal to sponsor the New England Hurricanes, a professionally-ranked NPPL team. The Hurricanes will be sporting Redz NV Packs and Hard Parts the for 2006 season. In 2005, the New England Hurricanes placed 8th overall, up from 9th place in 2004.

Carmen “the Angry” Borgia, Vice President of Redz International, had this to say about the deal: “After a year’s hiatus, we’ve had some time to iron out the particulars of a strong deal that benefits both Redz International and the New England Hurricanes. At the end of the day, it’s always good to have another team that we’ve previously worked with under our sponsorship umbrella. Back in 2004 when I played with the Hurricanes, they were the first pro players to test the now-famous Pepper Stickz barrels. The ‘Canes gave us constructive feedback on those products during their development, and I’m pleased to be placing those barrels back in their hands, in addition to our Cam-Locks and newly-developed ASAs. They’ll also be donning our low-profile NV packs, known for their impeccable stability, durability, and zero bounce. Redz makes the best pack on the market, so I am confident in saying that they will like these packs more than any other pack they’ve ever worn.”

About the New England Hurricanes:
The New England Hurricanes formed in the late 90’s, and rose up through the ranks to eventually come out on top in Div II X-Ball in 2003. In 2004, owner Jeff Stein partnered the team with Carmen “The Angry” Borgia and Redz International to become the Redz Hurricanes, moving over to the NPPL and placing 9th in the NPPL Pro division for that year. In 2005, they picked up David Adams to help coach the team, switched back to their original name, and after some hard work, placed 8th overall in the NPPL, with a notable 5th place at the Miami event.
