Gettysburg Ramping?

Guys repeating rifles were used during the Gettysburg campaign. Semi auto would represent this historically. 15 bps semi-auto will be fine for this game.

del i found a solution !!!! everyone!!!! checks there gear at the door and you hand us all a bag of 500 and a sling shot!!! now lets see that baby ramp!!!!! lets all just go out and shoot each other like we always do and have some fun doing it>> it dont matter who is shooting what its has always been that way and always will. just shoot your style and have fun so if your puddgy fingers only go 10 bps then wow your stuck and honestly if you cant put 1 of the first 10 on target why should you get more!! but hey i go both ways in paintball!!!!!!! had to make that clear!

so del, whats it come too? cuz everyone is just arguing back and fourth about ramping be cool or uncool. and whether ramping is allowed or not is your decision. so post please if there is ramping or not. this has caused too many arguments over something stupid. post up whether there is ramping or not. and then everyone will have to follow those rules or not go. and i think that it shoudl be fifteen bps no matter how you get it. wasnt that the past rules for all the past scenarios? change isnt always for the good. lets keep it the way it was the past scenarios at triggertyme.

No one should buy a marker that doesn't have a normal semi mode (unless they already have one that does) and I'm surprised that a marker that expensive doesn't have a semi mode.

And if you're shooting a rope of paintballs at someone how on earth can you possibly NOT bonus ball someone? Can you please explain to this tired old paintballer how you can magically make those other 14 paintballs veer off target and miss the poor guy on the other end of your rope?

If those who advocate ramping want to tell me that you think it's ok to hit a guy 3-5 times (or more) with a paintball and you think it's ok if the other guys hit you that many times then I can buy that as at least a reasonable and logical argument. But anyone who thinks they can ramp 15 or more balls per second and NOT shoot someone 3 or more times is living in a fantasy land. I'm sorry, but the physics are irrefutable.

This is my personal opinion and not that of anyone else. But I personally do not want to play paintball with ramping. If ramping is allowed, I will not play this scenario. I will never participate in any scenario as staff or player that allows ramping. Nor do I want to play with any other players who are unwilling to play without ramping. Like I said, that's just me.

And it truly makes me sick to see that 12% of the people who answered this poll said they are going to ramp even if it's not allowed. Does seeing that number give anyone else besides me cause to wonder what kind of people ramping is bringing into paintball?

areion- you're statements contradict yourself. you play a scenario paintball game. how many people are going to be shooting at you at once? in larger games 3-400 people. ALL SHOOTING. You are GOING to get overshot if there are 400 people all shooting in your direction. It's GOING to happen. Vince bought that marker off of a D1 NPPL/PSP team who doesnt need semi auto, it's a custom Tadao board made especially for them. Here's another thing, i can shoot 18-20 semi, yes i can, and ill prove it at the scenario if you wish, and i treat paintball in the same way, i shoot untill i see a bust or they call themself out. So to me, it really doesnt matter, either way you're going to have 30-40 balls at you in a few sec. Now- ive been overshoot too, ive had 13 go up my side, but ya know what? It didnt matter becaues i know it's part of the game and it's nothing to get mad about.

BTW- bonus balling and overshoot are two different things. Bounsballing is when you shoot sombody when they're already out, overshooting is well..yah.

Also- WHAT I THINK IS REDICILOUS IS A HOLY TRIPPLE POST BATMAN!
