A quick game info update.
The Grenada Army will be skins.
The socom units will be divided into different colors which represent different units ie. S.E.A.L.S, Rangers, Marines, ect.
This is because some missions the socom units undertake are unit specific.

In a nutshell the socom units will preform missions to capture and hold specific landmarks on the field for certain durations of time. This is monitored by a ref with a stopwatch of course.
Other missions under different titles such as sabotage, recon, etc deal with certain required troop types reaching different areas of the field and returning to base within a certain time limit. This is judged by the base ref.
Also base refs will judge timed prop runs as well.

The Grenada forces monitor socom activities and harass and or prevent mission completions. I underlined monitor because all socom mission activities are not listed on paper and they have to be uncovered by the Grenadian forces. The missions are chosen and enacted by the socom general at his discretion. Some missions have prerequisites however. yada yada yada.

The remote respawn bases will be harassed I am sure but the main bases are worthless. Besides the positive effect of camping respawn points will be minimal strategically. Example, It will keep troops from flanking you from an enemy respawn at your backdoor. But you have to devote troops to the task and for how long? No more than 30 minutes I would suspect.
There will be a ref at each stationary respawn point to direct traffic. In other words you can't stand there and wait till the respawn location is back under friendly control. You have to move on to another location. Call me a freak but I love the ambush potential. lol
I can see sniper type play surfacing as a main factor in this game.

First of all let me tell everyone that this game is built around special operations type play. Night time is the prime time to execute these missions. Get the picture.
A word on respawning.
I also have the PRA(peoples republic army) of Granada with access to 3 stationary respawn points on the field of play. For those familiar with the field they are fort apache, the radar station and south base (HQ). This provides quick respawn and ample troop field coverage. Not to mention natural flanking abilities due to having a respawn area at the enemy's back door more often that not. You can imagine the socom units feeling like they have blackhawked into the middle of enemy territory. Which is exactly what they were trained for.

The socom units have several stationary LZ locations on the field which can be used as respawn areas if the American flag :i.e. the helicopter has landed there. They can fly the copter to any LZ at any time they wish. Additionally the socom units can respawn at there main HQ's which is bunker hill base.
All of these respawn points can be held indefinitely by the opposition except each armys main HQ's. Go figure.
