Section 8 try outs Sat 8.5.06 @ TT 9:30-4

The local scenario team Section 8 is holding practice this saturday at TT with a few friends from the JAPS, BANZAI, DELTA DRAGONS, and BALL BUSTERS - and if you are intersted in hooking up with Section 8, we may be looking for you..!

We will be arriving at 9:30am and headed out to Bunker Hill and later out near the fuel dump / no mans.

This Saturday practice will look a lot like recball - just more challenging, focused on building the two teams, and stressing team building in some hard fought desparate situations.

Bring your commo, a reliable marker, water, and your "A" game - you are gonna need it.

rsvp via PM or just just show up. (wusses, wipers and poorsports need not apply.)

Some regulars and some new guys.

-----------New Guests in training-------------------
Chappy -- Loveable guy. (My Guest) He is getting pretty solid in the core.
Jeremy "Scooter" -- sneaky guy, novice to pball. Quick learner. (Steers Guest)
William the walkon (young kid with some solid material to work with) (My Guest)
Wayne? -- PBJ: Zatrik -- (Chappy and Kyles Guest) I dont know this guy, but kyle is real impressed.

---------- New members we are working on-----------
Deebo -- lovable guy, solid player - in training. Young, quick, dedicated. very good instincts.

Steers -- Steers is condering becoming section 8 full time, and as he does, Im working more and more with him in his fieldcraft. He is becoming an excellent wingman (for yours truely) and is learning to listen instead of just running around like a steer. Im coaching him one-on-one in the oldschool ways of paintball. He is very, very dedicated to the sport. The way he plays reminds me a bit of Grendel.

Spook -- Spook wears the section 8 and JAPS hat - and thats cool. He is solid in the core and hunts well. For a fairly new player, spook has a lot of tallent, and exceptional instincts. On top of that, he makes very few mistakes. The is The JAPS are lucky to have spook on board. Currently, I owe him one. (Payback for the Bunker hill - king of ban-me -- He got me in a 1-on-1)

----------- guys on the radar--------------------
Porkchop -- lovable, energetic guy - Very serious about getting seriously into the sport and anxious to move to the next level. (exactly where that is, I dont have a clue) - But he is certainly on section 8's radar screen. certainly a core player.

LB -- LB is an old time player, dating back to Silent Thunder when tournaments were played in the woods. He is kind of a loner, and not a guy you want against you. He makes no mistakes and is always a formidabe foe. Ill sponsor LB if and when his interst in the sport picks up. A solid deep flanker or wingman.

Temps this weekend look good

Hey guys. I know I've been slack about being out at TT. But have any of you actually been outside? It's arguably warmish out. As soon as it cools off a bit, I'm coming out in force. Plus I've been working 60 hour weeks since the beginning of June to pay for a honeymoon in Italy and Jamaica (I'm getting married Sept. 30). Anyways, there's a good chance of rain on Saturday, but the highs are only supposed to be in lower 80's, so I'm gonna come out. If it rains, I'll try again Sunday, which looks to be BEAUTIFUL for this time of year.

the store bought tanks were working fine last sat - the HPA compressor was down last sat. I dont know about progress.

Both of the PMI M10 co2 fill stations are down and in-need of rebuild. I had a 3 valve rig rocking pretty good sat.
