Hey wassup all. some of you know me some of you dont. a couple of years ago when the field switched owners i had to leave paintball for a while for financial and personal reasons. mostly financial. now im back and gettin into it again. i got to say that for robert and del to come into paintball completely blind and take it over and keep it goin they have done an excellent job. they are stilll learning the ropes of the trade but got a handle on it pretty good. i know they had some issues with the air in the past but after this last scenario all issues seemed to be resolved they have a brand new compressor that kept everything full for the entire event with no probs. the field looks just as good as ever and they are doin a good job on the upkeep. as far as the tower floor it has been like that since the day it was built LoL i busted my tail in there several times ... sticky tape does sound like a good idea to try. ill be goin out to the field alot more often now and some of the old school TT people are starting back and some already back. see yall on the field.

Thumper, why do you guys normally not split your team up to play with the walk-ons..Even though we have superior numbers we always lose. I'm not flaming you, but just wondering, wouldn't the games be more fun and challenging for you guys if you split up? Just wondering.

I have a comment that is geared more towards some of the content on your website.
I appreciate the thorough effort 'Thumper' put into developing the textual content on multiple sections of the website. The majority of it is very informative and well-versed; however, one section that pinched me a bit was the 'Phases of Experience' section where he details the evolution of the paintball player. The first three phases are highly applicable but the final part which says that those players who experience an epiphany of sorts will want to sell their high-priced or pain-stakingly customized gear in trade of a pump. I've played with both kinds of marks and I'll still take my semi over a pump any day. This is all opinion I understand; however, this sort of pressure journalism may be counter-productive to your website. Most of the people reading your site in full are probably rookies or those trying to learn more about the fields. If somebody is fed the notion that their marker will become trash with experience, they are less likely to want to continue playing. Paintball is a sport of preference as is everything. People play what is most fun to them and while I acknowledge and respect Thumper for both his invaluable contributions and his pump-gunning [in an auto-fire realm], I think those opinions are better left to other personal avenues. I hope no personal offense is taken from this. Best wishes. |
