Teams that will be playing for the Confederate side:

Hey, this is Vincent, I play with SC pirates. I noticed ramping has been prohibited from this upcoming scenario. Oh noes, everyone will have to go into semi mode... well, its a bit different for me. My gun was owned by a D1 team, and comes with a custom PSP board. problem: the only mode this gun has is 15 bps ramping. Yes, a problem indeed. Well, instead of being a dick and trying to cheat the system, I'm came to del with my problem, and he wants me to ask you guys. I've been looking forward to/planning this scenario ever since switchback, so I'd really like to play. I had no idea at that time that ramping wouldn't be allowed, so i didn't plan ahead for it.
So, Confederate forces::
Is this cool with you guys? I noticed you have riot and pain cell, so I know they'll throw in their fair share of fast shooting

For the most part I really don't CARE, Sure you can play I don't have a problem. Sorry, you bought a marker with a custom psp board you knew exactly what you were buying after all, correct me if I'm wrong here, you prefer the speedball over the senario stlye of play. I don't blame you for choosing a marker that will keep you competitive in that game.

I used to play speedball in the mid-90's and the game has changed much in the way of marker technolagy. MY ONLY QUESTION IS => don't you have a back-up in case your main marker goes down? ..... after all, if you drive to an event and your marker goes down, I hope you don't pack up and head home........

you're quite right, i did know what I was buying. I however did not know at the time that ramping would be an issue at this scenario, since it wasn't at the last, and I had a ref tell me it wouldn't matter.

As for the backup, I'm a pretty broke guy... I may be picking an ion/older timmy up around christmas (before 07 season) but as of now, i have no backup

I'm here to enjoy the game I hope that the others have no problem either. I personally got some ribbing for wanting to use a semi pistol holds eight paintballs in a pump gun only event. they were worried about the follow-up shot being to quick.. lol .. but my follow-up shot with my pump is about the same speed........

I don't care if you ramp, even though I will probably be beside you when you're shooting anyways.

I can vouch for Vincent that he is an honest guy and won't overshoot/bonusball anybody, he knows what he is doing.

I can second that, I've played with Vince for a long time, and he rarely, if ever, bonusballs or overshoots. And I know that he'll be especially careful since this is such a touchy subject for everyone.

It's up to everyone whether or not we will make this exception to the rule. Speak up or the I's have it.
