Tour of Duty-la Drang@TTJune30th&July1st

The year is 1967. Highway 19, located in the southern Central Highlands of Viet Nam, runs from Pleiku
(4th Infantry Division's Field Headquarters), then snakes through the Ia Drang jungle valley like an angry dragon,
and continues into the depths of the Cambodian rain forest. The 66th NVA Command has sworn to keep this crucial roadway operational, as it is used to supply their covert troops in Cambodia and Laos

On the morning of April 30, 1967, just after 9 a.m., soldiers from the 2nd Platoon spotted two NVA in the thick jungle.
The Americans gave chase, but unable to determine the exact location of the enemy, decided to saturate
the area with a barrage of machine-gun fire. Several NVA fell dead in the attack,
but the rest were able to escape down the trail.

The enemy soon regrouped 200 meters away, and began a blistering fire. Soon Americans were dropping like flies,
not only from the bullets, but also from dehydration. Both sides, unable to determine the other's positions,
could only fire away into the dark jungle. (Yet another case of what the Americans characterized
as the "old sucker treatment" - a carefully planned ambush by a handful of NVA soldiers to draw eager
American troops into a vicious fire fight.)

Join the men of the 4th Infantry Division (the Funky Fourth), as they attempt to destroy the enemy's lifeline
while taking on the NVA 's Yellow Star Division and any Viet Cong in their path.

I was told the paint is empire engage right? I saw on the warpig forum that it's like $70 a case? Is that right? Thats pretty high considering it retails for $45-50 per case.

This game is nationally advertised in several Pb mags. Check the new one's when they hit the stands next week. It will have a big draw regionally and a hoard of players from Florida are coming up in tow. We are bull dozing the roads on the field to prepare for the tank traffic. Considering the shear magnitude of the entertainment possibility and the chance to play and test your skills against teams from out of area. Yeah I think it's well worth the cost. This is a big thing to bring together folks. We're all in this for the memories and war stories after all. HooYahh!
