TT Newbie saying hi

hi this is e.t. cartman, newbie at TT for 3 months. TT is awsome, some of you guys really know what your doing. I took a shot to the neck 2 weeks ago. But im still pumpin paint. I also have a ? do you guys think a 20in. barrel on my tippmann 98 custom would help me be accurate and it also be light? Next, would it make me look like an american ww2 sniper. Is something wrong with the tt website?

Don't get a 20 inch barrel. It will not help accuracy much, if at all, it will probably take away from distance. Just go with a 14 inch barrel. It's the best bet.

paint 2 barrel match is key.. If you can afford, go with a barrel kit..

I agree junkee, paint to bore size match is critical.I've seen 12 and 14 inch barrels outshoot 18 and 20 inch barrels.Best bet is go with a good barrel kit such as the Freak or HammerHead.I have both. But,there are several other great barrel kits out there such as CP and Evil.

Quite a few people i know are partial to Kaner kits, Cp kits, and Dye ultralites. 12-14 inches is my preferred range

in my experience a 14 inch is a bit more accurate then a 12. 14's hold a more true line at the end of the shot as to where a 12 tends to taper to the left or right. if you can not afford a barrel kit right off but are looking for a good all around barrel there are several different Brands wich ever brand you decide a .689 will be your best bet to match most field paints until you can upgrade to a kit
