eBay: Gen X Global Deluxe Tactical Paintball Vest -Black (item 190102229084 end time Apr-18-07 10:24:40 PDT)
heres a black one on ebay for 70 bux, they also come in camo, im sure u can find a pic of one where there isnt pods in the front so u can actaully see the front. also, it says it holds six in the back, it really holds four, the elastic sleeves are not big enough for pods Last edited by atomic stapler8; 04-14-2007 at 10:43 PM. |

Personally, I enjoy the Flurry Emissary. It's priced about mid-range in the current tactical vest market. You can usually find them for cheaper (~$75-85) on ebay or via other reliable online resellers.
The biggest question you really have to ask is would you prefer front-mounted or rear-mounted pod holders. A lot of folks prefer front pods because they are easier to access and you don't get shot on rear pods that you don't know are hanging out. The disadvantage is that you usually give up pockets you can use to stash other things like grenades, wipe rag, map, etc. The flurry is a little light on pockets, if you want a ton of them, but they are really comfy and well made. They also include a laaarge back pocket for a hydration bladder. The Rap4 vests are always popular due to their modular design and a very aggressive early marketing campaign. However, it seems to me that they do not fit everyone well and are poorly adjustable for size. If you want a Rap4, you should try on some from random people you meet wearing them. Don't be afraid to ask, most scenario players will be more than happy to let you try one of if you simply say, "hey, I'm thinking about getting a Rap4. Mind if I try yours on?" SpecOpsPaintball sells a wide variety of vests, including their own high-quality in-house brand and a smattering of others. Most of them are highly adjustable, modular, comfortable, durable, and high-priced. These are not the best value in tactical vests, but they are a good product. They have a wiiiide variety from the vest for the guy who just has to carry a full case on his back to light and slim harnesses similar to military load-bearing harness systems.

I suggest the Broadsword from SpecOps, yes it is pricey, however after going through several vests, this one works the best (for me that is).

after looking at that flurry, the genx global seems the exact same, other than the logo and that the radio on the genx global dangles instead of being secured - but just go with what u think is best

And the Flurry hydration pocket is a two section deep version that holds a 3 liter bladder and has a Velcro divider strap to section off the pocket for storage or a smaller bladder. Gen X copied the Flurry almost exactly. Chris Maury, the guy that has Flurry is a scenario player and stands firmly behind his product, so you don't have to worry with any warranty issues.
Yeah, it's a lot of choices to pick from. Welcome to scenario paintball, Kaleb! ![]() |

I have a rap4 and it fits those needs. Four pod pouches, radio pouch, one pouch on the back of it for Air tanks, hydration pack what ever. Two front pouches for barrel bag, tools, squeage and sme for the two interior pouches.
