The Scenario Paintball Players League (SPPL) wrapped up the final event of their 2009 series at Low Country Paintball in Georgia on October 11-12th. The World and Series Champions where crowned and given their Champion trophies.

2009 SPPL World Champions: Smart Corp – Elite, Forest Demons – Masters, Xtreme Behavior – Rookie.

2009 SPPL Series Champions: Smart Corp – Elite, GTF Corp – Masters, Black Light Company – Rookie.

The 2009 SPPL season enjoyed tremendous success. Over 1000 players participated on 70 teams with an average of 12 players per team. This year events where held in California, Oregon, Utah, Kansas, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee, New York and Georgia.

Over 8 million paintballs were shot; $170,000 in prizes were given away and 30 new teams and hundreds of players experienced the adrenaline rush and excitement of playing the SPPL format.

The SPPL would like to thank all the teams, vendors, sponsors and spectators that participated in the 2008 season. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2009.
