Use Your SPPL Player I.D. Card to Get Discounts on Paintball Gear and More!
With the phenomenal deals offered to SPPL players, if you use your I.D. card to get a discount just once or twice during the season, your $25 I.D. card could pay for itself. That’s right: make a few paintball-related purchases, and your I.D. card is free!
“We know some players balked at the idea of buying an I.D. card on top of their event registration,” says SPPL President Jayson Nielson. “With our new discount program in place, if a player uses his I.D. card to get free entry at his local paintball field, plus a discount on paint, he’s already made back the cost of the card with one day of playing paintball! With top sponsors like Tippmann, Smart Parts, DraXxuS and Stiffi involved, plus fields like Low Country Paintball and CPX Sports and BearClaw to name just a few, the savings will add up quickly!”
Fields, stores, web sites, and manufacturers are all scrambling to sign up and offer discounts to SPPL players, so the list of participating companies grows daily. Sign on to http://www.playsppl.com to see an up-to-date list of participants in the SPPL Player Discount Program. Then start shopping, playing, and saving!
FAQs about the SPPL Player Discount Program
How does it work?
Check the updated list of participating companies at http://www.playsppl.com, then show your 2008 season player ID card at the time of purchase to receive discounts on merchandise, free or discounted registration for rec-play at your favorite field, (not valid during SPPL Major Qualifier Events or the Grand Finals) or paint discounts.
For online discounts, you will need to enter your unique player ID number at the time of purchase.
Can my buddy use my card?
Discounts are not transferable from one player to another. Tell your friend to play in the next SPPL Qualifier, so he can get his own discounts! Additionally, participating companies will have access to the SPPL database to verify the validity of player ID cards.
What if I forgot my player ID card?
Sorry, if you forgot your card, our participating companies cannot give you your discount. However, you can ask the field or store manager if you can return within a week with your receipt and player ID card to receive a price adjustment. Adjustments will be given *only* at the participating companies’ discretion.
It’s a good idea to keep your Player ID card in your wallet with you at all times, so you can always receive your player discount with no hassle or worries!
How much can I save with my card?
The more you support SPPL participating sponsors by making purchases, the more you will save! Discounts vary as more fields, stores and websites sign up for the program, but you can easily save hundreds of dollars this season—just by playing paintball and buying paint, air and gear!
So if I buy an I.D. card for $25, and then save $25 off paintball merchandise thanks to the SPPL Player Discount Program, does that mean my card is free?
Basically, yes! You can bring the cost of your SPPL Player ID card down to nothing, ZERO, just by playing paintball and purchasing paint, air, and gear from participating sponsors!
