2 bad they would be hard to wear with a mask

not really.
Many masks are able to fit glasses.
The issue may be that fact that these type cameras need alot of light to be of any real use. Low light situation make them grainy.
I picked up another type and plan on trying it at ABP next month.

I don't see it having much use for sports that require masks. I wear a smoke lens and wearing those wouldn't get much use. Also lens glare would really take away from the footage.

It could be useful in something like biking, skateboarding or even airsoft if the lenses offer some kind of protection.
