Thread: BT World Game

August 8th BT Paintball and Kee Action Sports are bringing you the first ever BT world game. Only select fields will be eligible to run this game, these fields are classified as Kee Premium Fields. Boss Paintball, which is just east of Charlotte, is at this time the only field in North Carolina that is eligible to run this game. What we know is that the game is being written by a very well known, and highly respected scenario author, whose name has not been released as of yet. The game is going to be held across the globe, so that the actions of red team in Singapore, for example, will affect the overall score of red team, as the game travels with the clock across the globe. Registration will be handled on the BT website link I posted above. Definitely make sure you watch that site closely, our field will have a cap of 300 players, and from what we have seen of this format as it has been tested in Mexico, that cap will be reached very quickly.

Anyone planning on going to this? It appears Bearclaw is participating.

Does anyone have any sort of details yet? Price ? what sort of game and if Bearclaw is for sure participating?

It will be a one day game. Paintball Command's field fee for the game will be a $35 entry that includes all fills, $65 per case ("All Star" which is officially being reintroduced as a premium "field only" paintball) and $36 for 1/2 case.

It will be hot in the south but I'd try to make it to one of the fields to be part of the 1st worldwide game. It will start in Australia at 9am and continue to start at 9am at all the fields in the different time zones, ending in Hawaii. Winner will be based on cumalitive score. The guys putting this together had some slow responses with overseas fields but all is almost in place. Look for more official details on the BT website http://www.btpaintball.com/btbiggame/index.html That should come in the next few days. You can sign up for e-mail on their site if you don't feel like checking it often. Here's a link to the US fields. ok I'm probably going to sound dumb but when is this whole event gonna be at Bear Claw because I live like 15 minutes from BC and wouldnt mind travelin over to go

No, the event is worldwide, Red vs. Blue I believe. Yes, Bearclaw is one of the fields participating in this event. I do not have the pricing details at this time but Daddy will post up as soon as he receives more information from BT.
