    Commonwealth Recruiting, OK D-Day 2010, June 7 to 13

Men and Women of the Empire!

The Commonwealth is expanding, and we are looking for players with energy, drive, determination, and discipline to fill our ranks. As part of the Commonwealth Expeditionary Force, you will be called upon to lead Commonwealth offensive efforts across the length and breadth of the D-Day battlefield.

The Commonwealth brings together men and women from the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Bosnia, Finland, Sweden, Holland and Australia. In 2010, we hope to add Belgium and Malaysia! Our players come from every walk of life, and every conceivable background. We welcome all levels of experience, from the first time player to the seasoned veteran. We are looking for candidates who exhibit personal integrity and sportsmanship, who can think and react independently, who have the discipline and strength of character to effectively represent the Regiment and the Commonwealth and who can work effectively as a member of a larger team. You will be called upon to accomplish objectives in the face of overwhelming German opposition. You will be required to move quickly and quietly over vast distances, to assault fortified positions, and to coordinate your actions with other Commonwealth and Allied forces.

The Commonwealth is its own self contained section of the allied forces and has its own Airbourne, Infantry, Special Forces, Armour, Anti-tank and Artillery groups. Our force is tight knit... You ALWAYS know where the Commonwealth is, where we camp, who we are. We’ve reactivated a unit, the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. Along with the 13th/18th Light Dragoons, they are both wide open for troop billets. This would be an opportune time for a team to become the core element of either unit and make a name for themselves. We are also actively seeking tankers to join the 13th/18th Royal Hussars. From what I have been told by the Head Game Coordinator, the insurance for the paintball tanks will be covered by the Promoter. That’s $150 the tank owner doesn’t have to come out of pocket with. The CEF also offers inexpensive group dining and group barracks, along with help in planning your trip to D-Day. With players coming 10K miles, no, it’s not too far away or too expensive.

If you wish to join any unit in the First Expeditionary Force of the Commonwealth, please send an email to the commander of the unit of your choice.

    free shirts

As an added incentive to register for ALL units involved
in D-Day, including ALL of Sir Ray's Commonwelath's units,
Dewayne, announced the other day that he's giving away
a free 'D-Day' tee shirt to those who sign up BEFORE
    December 17th.

Register for the Allied or German unit of your choice, but
preferably with one of the Commonwealth units and be
sure to note your shirt size in order to receive one of
these cool shirts as a Christmas present.

Now listen here chaps, join the Commonwealth Expeditionary
Force (CEF) and have a spiffing time drinking pimms and kicking
Jerry in the undergarment region. Join the 13/18 Royal Hussars
and drive a tank, now won't that be exciting? Come and have
fun on the beach with the infantry, but don't forget your bathing
suit, sun cream & hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Or if you're a chap
& not a boy you could join the airborne(age restrictions apply)
& enjoy our departure lounge "The Cock & Beaver" & get to
drop behind enemy lines and confuse the hell out of Jerry.

So come join this mad Englishman and destroy Nazi tyranny.
God save the King!! (NOT ELVIS)
    Huzzah!

    The Commonwealth

One of, if not the best organized group
of players you're apt to find anywhere.
Here's their latest bit of recruting effort
for your review. If you intend to come
to D-Day next June, please give them
    some serious consideration.
