Since I didn't make it to D-Day this year I was wondering how it went? Any reports from my fellow junkies?

i heard from some fellow paintballers that it was really cool until the end battles when there was ALOT of cheating, playing on, and over shooting. this came from a ref who pulled alot of people out of battle because they were hit and still playing on. I think big games like that need more refs at major battles and more supervision. When you are dealing with 1000+ players you need more refs.

I was not looking forward to going this year, to be blunt.
Tired of the drama and constant BS over the course of the past year, I had better things to waste my money on than this game. I went - reluctantly.
It was amazing. I spent more time in the Allied camps than in my own Axis camps. The vendor selection was slimmed down. The air provider was great, the JT paint sucked. My new Hammerhead MoFo barrel rocks.
The game itself was phenomenal. The cheating was blatant but quickly dealt with - A nice surprise in itself.
The Commonwealth put up a heck of a fight and although the Allieds surrendered near game end, we found worthy opponents in the 1st Can. Para. unit.
New buildings in Colleville give the game a different feel. I'll post pictures of it as soon as I'm off the office computer.
1 CAN PARA always does give it's best!:
It sounds like this year was a total blast! I'm really sad I misssed it =( But hey! Always next year!
