this game was awesome. i finally made the trip down to spg in rome goergia and had an absolute blast. i give the field, its staff and the game format an a+ and encourage anyone on the fence about going to a flag wars event to go ahead and make the trip.

    1. the field layout rocks. gentle roll to it. no major mountains to climb. has both woodsball, urban and speedball capabilities. the field is alot bigger than i expected. really cool bunkers in the woods, hyperball field is very nice and an urban town which is cool too. nice ambience on field.

    2. staff were awesome. very helpful and had no bad attitudes. refs did their job and where on top of any safety issues. the refs all knew the game rules and enforced them. the event was well staffed and there was always a ref where they needed to be.

    3. i loved the format. real simple and oldschool. flag wars just like the name says. go to the flag base, mark all the bad guys out and raise your teams colors. it was refreshing to play a simple format with no tricky rules, props, missions or role players. the format was fluid and smooth. and again it seemed all the refs knew the game rules.

    4. 200 man game. the feild plays well for its game cap. it wasnt a turkey shoot, but, you never had to go far for some intense action. i shot 3.5 cases of paint. the game is fast paced, action packed and intense.

    5. 25 bux includes air and you can bring your own paint. enough said. this was awesome for my budget of having my girl and her 15yr. old in tow for the event.

i had heard great things about this event and the spg field, i expected great things, they delivered. i highly recommend going and i will go back for sure.

Flag Wars was Great = if you have not made a game you need to!

I had a great time playing for the red team = I played last October and really enjoyed it, and my thanks goes to the refs and field managers for improving the game alot.

This was one of the best games I have ever played in the form of Sportmanship and fair play. I saw no Wiping, overshooting, attitude = Great sportsmanship. = Even when things were very hot it was routine to talk to the opposing players and show / discuss where you were hit, or not...and if not begin again, and if so head on out = it was really an excellent game.

The old Autococker with 18" Boomstick really performed well. If you were a white player trying to get out of Norad on the 2nd half of the day and were put out from the woods = long.... long balled it may have been the Autococker = did some real precission shooting.

I went solo this time = next time I hope to get all of Lead Assault Divisions boots on the ground.

I thank everyone for a great day of it.

    Kirk.

I had a blast. Thanks again for a great game. Everything went smoothly and the rain held off for the most part. Couldn't have asked for a better group of people to play with and you guys at Code 3 & SPG are awesome.

Honor & Integrity are hard to show sometimes when you are on the loseing end of a firefight, but I saw it over & over again on Saturday from both sides. For the sake of whoever is field commander next time I could have easily chosen 7 MVP's if not 20, maybe a couple of MVP medal's would make the decision a little easier. There are just so many stand up, quality players at your events.

Thank you especially Rooster for all of the time you put in to making this game better & better. I applaud your patience and the way you handle the entire event.

Thank you Tommy for another great battle. You got me again, but we went down fighting... I have the marks to prove it. Actually it would be more approppriate to say that I have a couple of spots that don't have marks.
