Happy Thanksgiving to All
What a great way to end our season - I wanted to thank everyone who attended the game for making it one of our best events ever. I want to thank PB Charleston, Tim & Tim, for continuing to develop the field, and Dave and the reffing staff for your hard work and professionalism. I gotta thank Will and Scott, our 2 illustrious generals, for all their dedication to the game. To Ben T., Paul B., and Evan E., our industry guys, thanks for coming out and being part of the event.
But mostly, Bonnie and I want to thank our players - there are no better anywhere in paintball. All of you are the heart and soul of what makes a MPP game special.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful holiday,
See you all next year,
Ben & Bonnie
PS - Bonnie is enjoying her tea - Thank you Seanna!
PPS - we missed you Bob & Susie!

Thanks Ben, Bonnie, Skeeter, Brain, Shanna, Duck Sauce and the rest of the guys at PBC. Again, I apoligize about the Friday Night Dinner, things were at such a whirlwind for me that I really didn't have the time to do it right. Hopefully next time will be a different story.

Late reply, I know, but:
Thanks again for all of the “kudos” for the ref staff. From a refs point of view, the recognition is very much appreciated. We put a lot of time and energy into prepping and educating the ref staff prior to the game. I have always worked with specific zones or territories for each ref, since Ben discourages dispatching specific mission refs. I set up the zones a little differently for this game & added 3 more refs to the main choke points. From the reviews, it sounds like it worked perfectly. There are always lessons to be learned from each event, but it sounds like the ref staff held up their end of the agreement, and then some.
It also helps immensely when we the right players are on the field with the right attitudes. The sportsmanship was outstanding, and there were only a few accusations of any sort of misconduct by anyone. This has been getting better and better each year, as the MPP series of games has progressed.
One of the best things that I have noticed over the past year or two, is that the scenario play (sportsmanship, integrity, honesty) is reverting to what I remember from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. As a player on the field, it helps to recognize that the opponents across from you are probably the same beer-drinking buddies that you enjoy spending time with in the staging area as well. We are all here to have fun, and the last thing anyone wants to do is screw up the event for other players, regardless of which side they may be on. This is a sincere compliment to the players this past weekend, and it is nice to see this level of play and sportsmanship in a game this large and intense. Props to all.
PS: Hope to see everyone again in March, and to the guys from RJ Rockers… You are welcome back ANY time, scenario or not!!! Great beer!
