Paintball lost another great one today.....
It is with immeasurable regret that I announce the loss of Matt "Hazmatt 2" Harp.
Matt lost his long standing battle with a recurring brain toomer this morning.
Matt was a 3 year member of the Doom Troopers, and lived in Savannah Ga.
Matt was full of life and was truly one of the funniest characters I've ever met. He loved to speak of himself in third person and say silly things to make people smile. Matt was proud of his country and often displayed that fact by wearing a stars and stripes bandana to cover the large scars on his head from previous surgeries. Matt believed he could do anything, and with his team behind him, he often succeeded. He loved the game for the brotherhood more than any other aspect of it.
I have never seen Matt in a bad mood despite the unfortunate cards fate dealt him.
Matt was a true friend.
Matt was a loyal and valuable team mate.
Matt will be sorely missed by his friends and team mates as well as many other members of the paintball community.
Matt was a collector of model helicopters and firearms.
Matt was far too young to leave us, but never feared the possibility for one single moment, instead, he cherished every moment he had.
We miss you already buddy .....

You know I often wonder why it is that its normally good people that get stuff like that...
Anyway, I hate to hear of his passing. My thoughts will be with his friends and family.

I'm so sorry to hear the news. My thoughts and prayers go out to Matt's family, team mates and friends.... I did not know Matt that well but on the occasions I visited the Trooper's campsite he treated me like he knew me for years. That I won't forget!

It is hard to find words to bring comfort to those that are friends and family of a loved one who has passed away. All I can say is to take comfort in the knowledge that God has given him a glorified body and he will never again know pain or sorrow ever again. My thought and prayers go out to his family and friends. You will be dearly missed Teammate.

Our respects to DT.. there's nothing like losing a fellow team player,, and we dont wish this on anyone.. Again, our prayers are with you Matt.
